The day before yesterday Hubby came down with a cold, stressing me out at the thought of one of the kids (or me) getting sick. Yesterday after J got his first immunizations (4! 3 shots, one oral--are you serious?!?) and the doctor said we should try to limit his exposure to Daddy it was decided that we'd move up our trip to KS planned for next Tuesday. So here we are in the sunflower state again enjoying some relaxing time with Gma and Gpa.
J's appointment was fairly uneventful (except for his shots, which sent him instantly from cheerful and content to furious). At his previous appointment he was between 25th and 50th percentile in weight. He is now 75th. He was at 75th in length/height, but is now 95th. J is giving some great smiles to Gma and Gpa. He loves to be outside and that often settles him down when he is fussy. Tummy time is another helpful tool. Bug hated it, but it seems to calm J. His fussiness is almost exclusively due to tummy trouble, so maybe the pressure makes him feel better.
